Cleaning Your TCG Cards and Binders: Dos and Don'ts

Your collection deserves to shine—but cleaning TCG items requires care. Here's how to do it right:
1. Never Use Water on Cards
Moisture can warp or delaminate cards. Avoid wet wipes or any liquid cleaners directly on your cards.
2. Use Microfiber Cloths
To gently remove dust or fingerprints, use a clean, dry microfiber cloth. These are soft enough to avoid scratching foils or holo patterns.
3. Compressed Air for Binders
If your binder has collected crumbs or dust between pages, use a short burst of compressed air to clean tight spaces.
4. Avoid Harsh Cleaners
For both cards and binders, skip alcohol wipes, bleach, or anything abrasive. Stick to dry methods or lightly damp cloths for binder exteriors.
5. Store Clean = Stay Clean
Most importantly: once cleaned, store everything in a clean, dry place away from sunlight and humidity. Prevention is better than cure!
